Sam Branson Weds Isabella Calthorpe
This weeks issue of 'HELLO!' Magazine (18 March 2013) Invites us to the spectacular Wedding of Sir Richard Branson's son; Sam Branson and his beautiful fiance Isabella Calthorpe.
Detailing over a 23 page spread and engrossing you within the magic of this romantic wedding, this article covers every aspect of pre-wedding adventures, themed evening parties,wedding morning excitement, Monique Lhuillier wedding dress imagery and romantic sunset ceremony details. The wedding took place over a five-day safari shindig and truly moving sunset ceremony in the Heart of the South African bush. The wedding is a action-packed affair with a guest list of 140 family members and close friends including Princess Beatrice, Princes Eugenie and singer Natalie Imbruglia who flew to the breathtakingly beautiful Ulusaba Private Game reserve in South Africa last week.

On the first full day of the 5 day extravaganza, fuelled for the day guests later do battle in the Bush Olympics, before putting their bodies to more romantic use: forming a heart between the letters "S" & "B".
Guests are involved in a morning excursion- revealing baby leopards and lions to entering the spirit of the Bush Olympics...
For their first night at the game reserve, guests are invited to dress in red for the Love Jam, a celebration of life, music... and love. Friends embraced this opportunity enthusiastically- as one party-goer became Cupid, another came as a frog and then later turned into a prince, whilst most guest arrived with messages of love emblazoned on their outfits and hearts on their faces.
The eve before the wedding designated White night. With the bush bathed in the golden glow of sunset, the party's vivid white outfits stood out even more against the verdant terrain, followed by a sumptuous supper under the stars. Amongst guests Professor Brain Cox who is a close friends of Sam and Isabella, instructed guests to gazed up in the sky at the constellations as he embarked on a journey of the universe, finalising ' When you look at the stars, you should see worlds. When you look at any animal or plant or even a blade of grass, remember our history was written into it. And that makes all of us-and thats you, Sam and Bellie - really very special'.
The Big Day!
The day of the big wedding, whilst females in the wedding party looked forward to a day of pampering and relaxation the men took off to indulge in 'many pursuits' such as competitive fishing."We didn't see why we should be the only couple who weren't allowed to see each other, so we split them all up' - laughed Sam
A magical setting requires a fairtytale dress and Isabella's, Monique Lhuillier gown fits the bill perfectly above. Added with an extra touch of sparkle are her Jimmy Choo shoes and matching clutch.
The bride wore a stunning lace, strapless Monique Lhuillier gown, accesorised with an elegant up-do and feminine floor-length veil.
The Ceremony
As the setting sun casts a golden glow over the ceremony, the bride and groom begin the process of tying their lives together forever.
Suiting the bride and grooms personalities the service is mixed of humour and emotion. There is no moment more emotional than the couples exchange of vows "These are the hands that even when wrinked and aged will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch"
The couple enjoy their first kiss as man and wife or rather first kisses "I normally have to tell the groom to kiss the bride, but I have to tell you to stop kissing" - Minister
With their vows over and the register signed the couple walk down an aisle created by friends and family forming lines. Each guest in hand a lit candle for the bride and groom and they all throw rose petals as confetti.
Just Married!
Isabella was wearing an elegant, shimmering pale gown by Amanda Wakeley as the besotted newlyweds made their entrance to whoops of delight. And they still had more excitement in store for the wedding party....

Tip of The Month! Wedding Venue
Picking a venue…just the thought seems daunting. It’s one of the first decisions you have to make during the planning and also one of the biggest decisions. The venue you choose has a lot of influence on the overall tone of your wedding. So before you choose your venue, there are a few (or a ton) of questions you should ask yourself.
1. How much can you spend on the venue? This has to be the first thing you figure out. If you have a $10,000 budget, you can’t spend $6,000 on your venue. Believe me, that won’t work out too well.
2. How much are you willing to spend on decor? If you don’t want to put much of your budget into decor, think about finding a venue that doesn’t require much decorating. There are plenty of indoor venues that are decorated for events so you don’t have to worry about those details.
3. Indoor/Outdoor/Church? I really hope those of you who answered “outdoor” on this question aren’t having a Winter or Mid-Summer wedding. And if you are, I hope you have a plan for how to keep your guests comfortable. Weather is the main factor in this decision making process. And if you plan to have a church wedding, remember that some venues will give you a discounted price to only have your reception there. So you can still have a reception at an unconventional site even if you choose to have a traditional ceremony.
4. About how many guests will you be inviting? This is a big thing. You may fall in love with a venue, but unless you have an estimate of number of guests, you can’t possibly book anything. And there’s no point in looking at venues that only cater to 100 guests if you know you will at least have 200.
5. Do you want your reception at the same place as your ceremony? It is obviously much easier to have both the ceremony and reception at the same place, but that doesn’t mean you have to. If you’re having a church ceremony, the reception hall might now fit your entire guest list. Or you may be getting married at a place that simply doesn’t have an area for a reception.
After answering these questions, I would narrow your list down to five venues to look at. When you look at each venue, here are some things to remember:
-Parking. Is there enough parking for guests? How far is the parking from the venue?
-What is the noise policy?
-For outdoor venues: Ask if they offer alternate plans in case of bad weather on the big day.
-Do you like the style?
-Is everything easily accessible for guests, including those in wheelchairs?
-For church weddings: How far is the church from the reception venue?
-What is supplied by the venue?
-Do they only work with preferred caterers or can you bring in your own?
-What is the overtime policy?
There are probably hundreds of other questions you could ask, but there’s a short list that should help you out a bit. You will most likely get that “love at first sight” feeling that you had with your dress, when you see your venue. So just have fun with everything!

National Wedding Show 2013
So the weekend of everything bridal and sparkly has yet again succesfully passed. We hope you had an amazing time visualising your dream wedding and that you are again a few steps closer with the planning of your special day. The National Wedding Show 2013 had a wide range of wedding dresses, cakes, photographers and all-around wedding inspiration again to help make your day the most memorable one of your lives. Here are some memories we took with us from the show:

We fell especially in love with TLC Shoes, a custom made wedding shoes company that shares same beliefs as My Eden does on designing exactly what the bride wants to create something unique.

The Catwalk show was exciting as always with different themes varying from Dark Romance to Country and Traditional. The Catwalk is the NWS's flagship feature, created in association with Wedding Magazine, showing latest trends in wedding dresses, make up, hair, accessories and flowers. My Eden was featured in two scenes of the show, in Destination with the Sequined Aphrodite -dress, and in Dark Romance with the Venus -dress.

My Eden's Wish -dress was also featured as a top pick from the show on the talk "Looking Good on Your Big Day" by Wedding Magazine's lovely fashion director Lizanne Harris. The talk ran everyday, and Harris gave tips on bridal trends that tend to usually follow current fashion trends. This year a lot of 1920s inspiration and Great Gatsby -like dresses were seen, and My Eden's Wish and Fantasy -dresses fall perfecly into this inspiring category.

My Eden at the National Wedding Show 2013
It's that time of the year again when lace embroided sleeves, silky ball gowns, delicate veils and everything filled with beauty and grace comes together under one roof at London Olympia - The National Wedding Show, a bride-to-be's one stop wonderland to plan her dream wedding. This one-of-a-kind event is England's largest wedding show and attracted some 13,000 visitors last year. It is a must to every bride-to-be to get inspired and visualize their fairytale wedding from florists and photographers to cake designers, and finally bespoke wedding dress designers, such as My Eden.
Like last year, My Eden will be taking part in the 2013 wedding catwalk show, which sends down inspiring looks not only for the 21st century bride, but also for her whole entourage. Here are some of our looks from last year's show:
We will also have our own stand like last year, and we will be bringing a fitting room with us so come and see us at E63, try on some dresses and we can start the journey of designing your dream dress!
